Our story

It’s been a journey across 8 years, hundreds of teams, thousands of practitioners, and billions of data points.

We have loved every moment of this journey and walking side by side with our teams to continuously improve.

We’ve listened. We’ve learned. We’re ready to raise the bar again on the next generation of high performance solutions.

Born from Sport

Our journey began in Dublin, Ireland with a performance practitioner who wanted to make an impact on athletes, who wanted meaningful conversations with coaches, who wanted more from data,  who saw early on that it was too complex for spreadsheets and reports.

A Big Vision

The company was founded to fundamentally change how data is used in sport to enhance performance and reduce injury risk.  

The mission was to have a company that could learn from the data, experiences, and practices from many teams, not just one. Using such cross-team learnings we could continuously improve technology and best practices. 

Big Vision, Humble Approach

The “Kitman” is the European equivalent of the US “Equipment Manager.”They are the unsung heroes of sport, working behind the scenes to do the hundreds of small jobs that nobody notices until they don’t happen and the things we rely on grind to a halt. We wanted our company to be like this; not standing out front taking the accolades but working tirelessly behind the scenes to empower practitioners in making essential decisions by leveraging advances in science and technology to power performance.

We've assembled some of the best technologists, product experts, UI designers, and data scientists, but ultimately we are a practitioner-led company. 

The sporting environment is unique. It's fast. It's high pressure. So we build our solutions through your lens in order to make a true difference to how you work, the relationships you have at your team, and your ultimate success.

We watched and listened and learned from many failed vendor-team relationships (some of them our own).
