Menlo Park, CA, and Salt Lake City, UT (April 8, 2025) – Kitman Labs, the global enterprise SaaS company delivering the only fully centralized operating system for performance intelligence in elite sports, today announced an expanded partnership with Utah Royals FC, a Salt Lake City-based club in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
As part of the NWSL’s League-wide adoption of Kitman Labs’ Performance Medicine Solution in 2023, all teams in the League have access to iP: Intelligence Platform for medical data management. Now, Utah Royals FC will broaden their use of the platform by integrating Performance Optimization, allowing the club to unify performance, training, and medical data into a single system.
Co-owned by Ryan Smith, Lindsey Vonn, and David Blitzer, Utah Royals FC will now have the ability to centralize game, training, gym, and physical testing data alongside medical insights for a comprehensive, real-time view of each athlete. The platform eliminates data silos, enhances cross-department collaboration, and enables data-driven decision-making at every level of the organization. Both practitioners and players will have access to a dedicated Coach and Player App, ensuring real-time data capture and on-field application.
“By integrating performance and medical data within a single, centralized and secure platform, we can provide a real-time, 360-degree view of all players across the Club” said Kelly Cousins, Sporting Director at Utah Royals FC. “With a unified system like The Intelligence Platform, every stakeholder has access to shared, accurate, actionable insights that empower informed decision-making at every level of the Organization.”
“The Intelligence Platform is designed to unify data, people, and processes,” said Stephen Smith, CEO and Founder of Kitman Labs. “Elite sports leagues and teams are drowning in data generated from multiple providers and disparate systems, making it impossible to produce a complete and holistic view of each athlete. With iP, Utah Royals FC can now centralize and fully leverage the data collected across the entire organization to support specific player health and performance outcomes while eliminating information silos and driving collaboration across all practitioners.”
Kitman Labs has an established track record of working with 2000+ top leagues, teams and regulatory bodies in 26 countries across a variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, rugby, and American football. The company’s technology is currently being used by leagues and teams within some of the world’s most elite sports organizations, including the National Football League (NFL), Premier League, Major League Soccer (MLS), National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) and English Football Union (RFU).
