Best Practices for Calendar

By Alex Schultz

Kitman Labs Devices
A shared calendar is essential for athletic trainers, performance coaches, team coaches, and executives working with elite sports teams, and leveraging the Kitman Labs Intelligence Platform to further enhance collaboration, workload management, and performance optimization. Here are three of the best practices for using the calendar with your Intelligence Platform.

Drag and Drop

While in the “week view” of the calendar, you can drag and drop an event into the week and the iP will auto-populate the date and the duration of the event rather than having to manually input the information.

Duplicate Session & Duplicate Participants

In order to maximize your time and avoid manually entering events, you can use “duplicate” feature when adding additional events. Once you click, “duplicate”, you can then toggle on a simple checkbox titled “duplicate with participants” that will copy over the participation status from the session you are copying, saving you time.

Participation Filter

In order to save additional time and avoid setting the athletes’ participation in the event one by one, you can use the filters to maximize your efficiency. To utilize these, you can navigate to the event in the calendar and click “more details”. From there, you are taken to a new screen where you will need to set the participation of the athlete in the event. This is where you can use those filters to set participation levels for multiple athletes at once, using “set all”. For example, you can filter to all of your injured athletes by selecting “Unavailable” and then select “No Participation” > Set All
